Job summary

Idaho Home Health and Hospice in Meridian, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, is hiring a Home and Community Based Services Aide to support clients in remaining in their own homes.

You will provide essential personal care, assist with daily living activities, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments, while monitoring health and conditions and documenting with EVV. Flexible hours and community-based opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
• CPR certification preferred or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
