Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an in-home Home Health Aide or CNA to provide personal care and health-related services to patients in their homes in Idaho. You will support activities of daily living, maintain patient well-being, and report changes in condition to supervisors.

A valid Idaho CNA certification and CPR are required, with flexible hours and independent work capability. State-specific requirements include Idaho CNA registry listing.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
• ID: Must be Certified Nursing Assistant and listed on Idaho CNA registry
• 6+ months of home care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care and designated health related services to maintain the patient's physical and emotional well being
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, denture care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toilet care
• Report observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager
• Drive safely and comply with traffic regulations when travel is required
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care

As the Home Health Aide or CNA, you will provide patients with in-home personal care and designated health related services to maintain the patient's physical and emotional well being.

Primary Responsibilities:

• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing in bed, tub or shower; care of hair including shampoo, combing and brushing; care of teeth and mouth including denture care; nail care, filing only; skin care including peri care and applying lotion; transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair. Transfer of patients on and off bedpan, commode and toilet

• Reports observations of the client's condition to the agency director or accounts manager

• Drives safely, complies with traffic regulations, and wears a seat belt when business travel is required

• Assists with household tasks directly essential to clients' personal care

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ months of home care experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $14.00 to $22.30 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
