Job summary

Visiting Angels Longview is seeking compassionate caregivers to serve seniors in East Texas, including Marshall and nearby communities. Join a local team dedicated to safety, dignity, and personal growth.

Caregivers assist with medications, mobility, personal care, meals, and companionship, with opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care and flexible shifts to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Respectful, compassionate, and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients.
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
