Altra Homecare of Kokomo in Lynn, IN is seeking a compassionate Lynn Caregiver to provide essential in-home personal care, medication reminders, and companionship to clients in their own homes. You will promote independence, dignity, and well-being while following care plans.

Requirements include being 18+, valid driver's license and auto insurance, CPR certification, ability to read and document care, and ideally 1 year of relevant experience. We offer competitive pay and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Current CPR certification.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple activities.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services (letter-writing and reading).
