Arcadia, part of Addus HomeCare, is hiring Caregivers in your area to provide in-home support with a written care plan. This entry-level role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours and a path toward a rewarding career in home care.

No prior experience or certifications are required; training is provided in-person, by phone, or via video to help you succeed and grow within a growing industry leader.

Qualifications

• Must complete the agency's employment process.
• Criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
• 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes).
• Light meal prep and serving meals.
• Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved.
• Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved.
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks).
