Qualifications

• Proficiency in English required.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience preferred.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience encouraged to apply.
• Previous home care experience is a plus but not required; compassion matters most.
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature are essential.
• Reliability and a valid driver’s license with transportation.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Willingness to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, light exercise or walking.
• Prepare and serve meals for tasty and healthy nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders; training will be provided.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Maintain a warm, empathetic approach and enthusiasm for helping others.
• Keep clients’ homes clean and safe.
• Provide occasional transportation for appointments or errands (miles reimbursed).
• Demonstrate dedication to clients and teamwork within the agency.
