Job summary

Guardian Angels Homecare in Branford, CT is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, health monitoring, medication reminders, and home upkeep to help them live safely at home.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of home care experience, a valid US work authorization, a driver's license, and good English communication skills. Training and supportive team environment provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year home care experience.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
Ability to perform housework and cooking.
Excellent communication and reading/writing in English.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with bathing, personal care, grooming, dressing, and undressing.
Support clients who cannot move on their own, including turning, positioning, and transferring.
Monitor skin care, observation, and treatment.
Ensure clients receive their medication on time and cue reminders.
Provide necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment and make beds.
Perform laundry, meal preparation, and planning according to clients' restrictions.
Accompany clients to medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Offer socialization, conversation, and emotional support.
