Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team as a PCA, HHA, or CNA in Indiana. You will provide essential personal care services in clients' homes, support independence, and maintain safety and dignity.

We welcome applicants with or without prior experience; must be 18+, hold a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and be able to read and follow care instructions. Benefits include health and dental coverage and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure client safety.
• Report significant changes in the client’s condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required.
• Monitor and record client temperature.
• Assist client’s with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
