Job summary
Altra Homecare Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to provide essential in-home care tailored to each client's needs. You will promote dignity, safety, and independence while delivering personal assistance and companionship.

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided).
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Preferred: current CPR certification.
- Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient laundry when necessary
- Provide medication reminders
- Ensure patient safety
- Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
- Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
- Monitor and record patient temperature
- Assist patients with ambulation
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
- Offer bathing assistance
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
