Job summary
Home Instead in North Canton is hiring compassionate Care Professionals to help older adults stay safe and independent in their own homes. Starting pay is $15 per hour and higher based on experience, with an additional $1 per hour weekend premium.
We offer full-time, part-time and weekend opportunities with flexible scheduling. As a Care Professional you may provide companionship, assist with bathing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, mobility, medication reminders and accompany clients to
Qualifications
- Compassionate and dependable demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening.
- Professional and reliable communication with clients and team.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation with clients.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting.
- Help with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Provide medication reminders and safety checks.
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments and maintain a safe home environment.
