Job summary

Assistance Plus is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide ADL assistance and in-home support within a 30-mile radius. You will uphold infection control practices, assist with mobility and daily activities, meal planning and light housekeeping, and document client status.

The role requires a valid Maine driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and access to email/internet. Certification will be provided at no cost, with a flexible schedule and paid travel time.

Qualifications

• Proof of tenth grade or higher is required. High school diploma preferred.
• Proof of access to email/internet and basic computer skills are expected.
• PSS certification will be trained at no cost.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living as per client service plan.
• Follow infection control procedures and use universal precautions.
• Assist with personal care, meals, housekeeping and mobility as needed within the home.
• Transport clients within 30 miles of home and document changes in status.
