Visiting Angels Lawton, OK is looking for a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support seniors at home across Duncan, Lawton, and surrounding communities. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal planning, and companionship to help clients live comfortably at home.

This role offers flexible shifts including full-time, part-time, and PRN, with benefits such as health, dental, vision, and weekly pay. Must have a high school diploma and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent time-management skills required.
• Reliable transportation to client visits required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Training/knowledge in First Aid and emergency response preferred.
• A heart for vulnerable people seeking meaningful companionship.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks.
• Encourage clients to meet exercise and fitness goals.
• Prompt clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with shopping and putting away groceries or shop for them.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients based on ability.
• Assist clients with mobility and getting around the home, including doctor visits.
