Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking a part-time or PRN Care Companion for day shifts in the Ashland area. Pay ranges from $14.00 to $15.80 per hour, with evening, night, and weekend differentials.

The role covers meal service, light housework, laundry, and personal care support for clients. Onsite presence is required, with opportunities for growth and mission-driven work in a faith-based community.

Qualifications

• Onsite presence required.
• Duties include serving meals, cleaning, laundry, and personal care support.
• Experience in geriatrics or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares specific food items following standards for preparation and service.
• Serves client meals with temperature and portion control.
• Performs general cleaning across the home, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and windows.
• Performs laundry: washing, drying, folding, and organizing.
• Transports clients and delivers mail/packages as needed.
• Assists with personal care and informs supervisor of client needs.
