Job summary

Bay Aging is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide routine personal care, companionship, and light housekeeping for clients in Colonial Beach, VA. Duties include ADLs, meal prep guidance, and monitoring safety, all per the care plan.

The role reports to the Personal Care Supervisor and requires HIPAA compliance and strong English communication. Eligible for sign-on bonus and benefits beginning after a short eligibility period; full-time schedule typically Monday through Friday with some weekend

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Ability to follow care plans and document services.
• Effective communication with clients, families and supervisor.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills for elder care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship per the care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living within the home.
• Monitor safety, report changes to supervisor, complete records.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.
