Job summary

ALWAYS THERE HOME CARE & CONSULTING is seeking qualified Home Care Aides to join our dedicated team. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, following individualized care plans with empathy and attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have prior Home Care, dementia care, or Hospice experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license with CPR certification. PRN positions are also available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide/Home Health Aide experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year prior professional experience
• Driver’s license required
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Provide meal preparation
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
