Job summary

EMPATHYHANDS HOMECARE is in search of a compassionate Home Care Aide to join our team. The role involves following a personalized care plan for patients in their homes, ensuring attentive and tailored care.

Ideal candidates will have graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program, hold a valid driver's license, and have CPR certification. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, maintaining patient records, and fostering engaging relationships to promote mental well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have a Driver’s license or ID.
• CPR certification required.
• Current TB test is mandatory.
• Live Scan and register with the California Home Care Registry (HCA).
• Two years prior professional experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing and transportation.
• Maintain records of patient care and report any changes.
• Engage patients in exercises to promote health.
• Build relationships through conversation and mental engagement.
• Provide medication reminders when necessary.

Prior Home Care or Hoyer lift experience

Education
