Job summary

Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Home Care Aides to support clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship while upholding dignity and independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN hours and opportunities for growth within a supportive care team. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience, dependability, and professionalism.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must successfully complete required background checks.
• Must meet all applicable state, Medicaid, and agency requirements for the position.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required.
• Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assigned client/case.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide light housekeeping related to client’s care.
• Observe and report changes to supervisor.
• Follow each client’s individualized care plan.
• Maintain client confidentiality and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with clients and care team.
