Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Care Aide/Caregiver in Dunsmuir, Mt. Shasta & Yreka, CA. Earn $18.00 per hour with weekly pay and direct deposit.

31 hours available to start, with 1:1 aide-to-client ratios and a schedule you can set to fit your life. Provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, reminders, and companionship. Must have a high school diploma; CA driver’s license; background check and drug screen; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen (THC not tested).
• Valid CA driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
