Nurse Next Door Weatherford/Granbury is seeking a Home Care Aide to join our team and provide one-on-one care in patients' homes. You will follow care plans, build genuine relationships, and maintain a healthy, supportive environment for patients.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. This role emphasizes compassionate companionship and personal care.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of prior professional care experience.
• Driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Auto insurance required.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
