Job summary

Vitale Nursing, Inc. in Orange County seeks compassionate Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our private duty team. You will provide non-medical in-home support to enhance comfort, dignity, and safety for patients recovering at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, personal care, companionship, light meal prep, medication reminders (non-medical), and reporting changes to the supervising RN/LVN/CNA. Full-time or part-time roles with day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the California CDSS.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Three professional references.
• Background check and fingerprint clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide personal care and companionship in homes or recovery suites.
• Support light meal preparation, feeding, and hydration reminders.
• Perform non-medical medication reminders (no administration).
• Assist with household tasks related to patient care (tidying, laundry).
• Provide safety supervision, fall prevention, and mobility assistance.
• Report observations to supervising RN/LVN/CNA and document care.
