Job summary

A home care provider in South Carolina is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Home Care Aide. In this role, you will provide personalized care to patients in their homes, assist with daily activities, and foster meaningful relationships. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, complete a Home Health Aide program, CPR certification, and one year of experience in the field. Qualifications

• Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud.
• Give medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
