Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support and companionship in the Dorchester area. You will follow care plans, assist with bathing, meal prep, mobility, and daily activities to maintain client comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
• Nursing students seeking patient care experience.
• Experience in home care or similar setting is a plus; kindness and eagerness matter most.
• Strong communication skills and a caring nature.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver''s license.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; support maintains dignity and comfort.
• Assist with Mobility, Transfers, Light Exercise or Walking.
• Prepare and serve meals for tasty and healthy food.
• Medication reminders; training provided.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities to brighten days.
• Show enthusiasm for helping others and learning.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Occasional transportation for appointments or errands; miles reimbursed.
• Demonstrate dedication to clients and respect for the team.
