Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides to serve clients in the Detroit metro area and nearby Downriver communities. Open and virtual interviews are available at our Detroit office in the Fisher Building. No certification is required and you can choose a territory close to home.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship. Must be 18+, have a clean background, reliable transportation, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Must successfully complete pre-service Home Care Aide training.
• Reliable transportation: car or public transit.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) required at time of application.
• Must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring.

Responsibilities

• Personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming.
• Provide and/or assist with light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, meal prep, vacuuming, bed making).
• Companionship.
