Addus HomeCare in the Detroit area is hiring Home Care Aides to assist clients at home with personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship. Open and virtual interviews are offered in the Fisher Building Detroit office.

Most positions offer flexible scheduling, daily pay for select roles, and mileage or bus fare reimbursement. No certification is required for some openings, and extensive paid training supports career growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Have a clean criminal background check
• Reliable transportation: either by car or public transportation
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) will be required at the time of application.
• Must successfully complete pre-service Home Care Aide training
• Must be reliable, courteous, honest, energetic, and caring

Responsibilities

• Personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming
• Provide and/or assist with light housekeeping: i.e. laundry, dishes, meal preparation, vacuuming, bed making
• Companionship
