Job summary

Visiting Angels is hiring a Patient Care Aide - PCA to support seniors in the Hurst area and surrounding communities. The role involves helping with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and medication reminders in clients' homes.

Training and ongoing support are provided by a caring office team. A comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off after 90 days, health, vision, and dental coverage for full-time employees, and bi-weekly pay with direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Manage light housekeeping tasks in client homes.
• Prompt clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with shopping and putting away groceries, or shop for them.
• Plan and prepare meals in collaboration with clients.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation as needed.
