Job summary

Caremed Inc. is hiring dependable Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide personalized in-home care and daily living assistance to seniors and individuals who need support at home.

Our PCAs provide essential personal care, ADL assistance, companionship, mobility support, meal assistance, medication reminders, and light housekeeping while helping clients remain safe and independent in their homes.

Qualifications

• Current PCA certification required.
• Experience preferred, but not required — all are welcome to apply.
• Dependable transportation and reliable attendance.
• Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and client-centered care.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and instructions.
• Ability to pass required employment background screening.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance and safe client transfers according to the client's care plan and training.
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, hydration, and nutrition-related needs.
• Provide medication reminders according to the individualized care plan and applicable requirements.
• Assist with ambulation, positioning, and other personal care needs.
• Provide companionship, conversation, socialization, and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to the client's care.
• Follow individualized care plans and client-specific instructions.
• Observe and communicate changes in client condition, behavior, or needs.
• Complete accurate electronic logging, visit documentation, care notes, and required service records.
• Maintain client dignity, privacy, confidentiality, and safety.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the Caremed care team.
