Addus HomeCare is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help seniors and people with disabilities live independently. This entry-level role offers stable hours, training, and a path to a meaningful career in home care.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, transportation, and daily tasks while maintaining client dignity. Flexible scheduling and pay up to $15.68 per hour make this a strong entry point into healthcare.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of in-home care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using electronic devices.

Responsabilités

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments and daily errands.
• Assist with self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
