Addus HomeCare is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide essential in-home support to seniors and people with disabilities. Earn up to $15.68 per hour with a flexible, entry-level role that offers meaningful work and opportunities to grow within a nationwide caregiver company.

You will follow care plans, assist with daily activities, transport clients as needed, and report changes in condition while maintaining dignity and independence for the individuals you serve.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of in-home care experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsabilidades

• Follow a care plan for the member and report on completed tasks.
• Assist people with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Support routine house cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Transport members to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary.
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring).
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition.
