Job summary

Elara Caring is hiring a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to support clients in their homes. The role focuses on personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and daily tasks to improve quality of life.

You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help ensure a safe home environment. Competitive pay starts at $13.50/hr with daily pay options and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
• Ability to lift, stand, and assist clients up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client
