Job summary

Chinese American Service League (CASL) is hiring a Home Care Aide to support seniors at home. You’ll perform household tasks, personal care, meal prep, and medication reminders under a participant's Plan of Care, delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive services.

We offer $19.50/hour, flexible scheduling, and a $200 internal referral bonus after 90 days. CASL provides training and ongoing support, with paid sick leave per Cook County rules and opportunities to grow within a caring, diverse

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic household tasks and personal care.
• Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Participant Care: follow Plan of Care for assigned participants.
• Household tasks: cleaning, laundry, dishes, and upkeep.
• Meal preparation following dietary guidelines.
• Personal care assistance with dignity and privacy.
• Medication reminders and safety checks.
• Accompaniment to appointments and errands.
• Document observations and report changes to supervisor.
• Attend training and developmental sessions annually.
