Job summary

Chinese American Service League is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide essential in-home care to seniors and individuals needing assistance. You will follow each participant's Plan of Care in their home, performing household tasks, meal preparation, personal care, and medication reminders with compassion and respect.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, paid training, and a $200 internal referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) is preferred; English is a plus.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a human services role or caregiving for a family member.

Responsibilities

• Direct Participant Care: implement tasks in Plan of Care for each participant.
• Household tasks: cleaning, bed-making, housekeeping per care plan.
• Shopping: assist with household supplies per care plan.
• Meal prep: prepare meals according to dietary plans.
• Personal care: support with grooming, bathing, dressing.
• Medication reminders: remind and assist with medications per plan.
