Job summary

Addus HomeCare is hiring Home Care Aides to provide compassionate in-home support. The role offers flexible, full-time or part-time hours and a starting wage of $18.75 per hour, with travel reimbursement where eligible.

Daily pay is available for select positions. Eligible employees receive health insurance through The SEIU Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund, enrollment in a retirement plan after 6 months, and paid time off up to 75 hours per year plus holidays after meeting 30

Qualifications

• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a HS Diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• 2 references (1 professional, 1 personal).

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care.
• Provide occasional house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
• Transport client to appointments and daily errands.
