Job summary

Ambercare is urgently hiring Home Care Aides in Santa Fe, Pojoaque, Tesuque, Chimayo, Los Alamos and surrounding areas to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This entry-level role offers flexible hours and daily pay for select positions.

As an Ambercare Certified Nurse Aide, you will deliver compassionate, client-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe home environment in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant training.
• Satisfactory background check and valid driver's license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to compassionately care for others.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take medication at the appropriate time.
• Assist clients with therapy exercises under direction of a Registered Therapist.
• Assist with personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with routine bodily functions and daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and accompany clients to appointments.
