Job summary

Personal Care Services MidSouth is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide compassionate in-home care, assisting clients with daily living activities and personal care while promoting safety and independence. You will follow care plans, document observations, and support families with companionship and essential errands.

Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments, with ongoing communication to the supervising

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal care and home management.
• Knowledge of care service standards and client satisfaction evaluation.
• Knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Knowledge of clerical record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Ensure client safety and supervise home environment.
• Provide meal planning and housekeeping assistance.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Follow written care plans and report to Supervisor.
• Maintain records of daily activities and observations.
• Participate in orientation and staff meetings.
