Job summary

Personal Care Services MidSouth is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to assist clients in their homes with daily living activities, personal care, and routine housekeeping. You will follow care plans, monitor health and safety, provide companionship, and coordinate with the care team to support independence.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and documenting daily observations. A valid driver's license and CPR knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of personal care and home management skills.
• Knowledge of English language.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR.
• Knowledge of clerical procedures and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care tasks including bathing, shaving, ambulation, dressing, feeding, toileting and other related activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Ensure client safety and supervise the home environment according to care plans.
• Transport clients to medical appointments, errands and activities as required.
• Follow written care plans and communicate observations to the Supervisor.
