Job summary

Alvita Care in Staten Island is seeking experienced home health aides and personal care aides for private-duty one-on-one care in clients' homes across the five boroughs. Roles include full-time, part-time, and per diem options with daytime and occasional overnight shifts. Pay ranges from $19.10-20.00/hour.

Casual, compassionate caregivers who can complete onboarding and maintain the highest standards of care are encouraged to apply, with weekly Friday pay and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NY HHA/PCA certification required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year private care experience.
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Able to complete Alvita Care onboarding process.
• Memory care, palliative, ADL and transfer experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home HHA/PCA services to clients.
• Maintain calm demeanor and manage challenging behaviors with care.
• Coordinate with families and support scheduling for clients.
