Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking male caregivers who are CNA or HHA certified to provide compassionate in-home care. You will support non-ambulatory clients with mobility, personal care, companionship, and transportation while following each client's care plan.

A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a smartphone with active email are required. The role emphasizes professionalism, ethics, and timely communication with the office and family, in a home environment with dogs.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Have a valid Driver's License and active auto insurance with a clean driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and an active email account.
• Understand professionalism, ethics, and client confidentiality.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and committed to high‑quality care.
• Be responsive with timely communication regarding schedules and updates.
• Willing to complete onboarding documents promptly.

Responsibilities

• Assist non-ambulatory client with transfers and mobility.
• Provide one-on-one companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Provide feeding tube assistance (experience preferred).
• Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands if needed.
• Follow each client's plan of care.
• Communicate timely updates with office and family regarding care and changes in condition.
• Provide patient, respectful care to clients with limited verbal communication.
• Work in a home with two dogs (pet-friendly environment).
• Deliver dependable, compassionate care while preserving dignity and independence.
