Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is hiring CNAs, HHAs, and Caregivers to provide compassionate in-home care in the Jacksonville area. The role includes daily living assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation and mobility support.

Applicants must have a CNA or HHA certification, a valid driver license, and a current CPR card, with background checks completed prior to employment. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, health insurance options, and 401(k) retirement plans,

Qualifications

• CNA license or HHA certificate required
• Palm Beach County badge for HHAs required
• CPR training (not online)
• TB test or chest X-ray
• Valid driver license or state ID with auto insurance
• Two forms of ID (SSN, passport, etc.)
• Level 2 fingerprint background check
• Experience with dementia, HIV care and medication assistance a plus
• Minimum 1 letter of recommendation

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living in their homes
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal prep
• Provide companionship and monitor health needs
• Assist with transfers, errands, appointments and mobility
• Administer medications reminders and follow care plan
• Support clients with mobility, ROM exercises, bathing and dressing
• Maintain safety and report changes to supervisor
• Document care provided and communicate with family members
