Job summary

Right at Home Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in the greater Jacksonville area. The role focuses on personal care, mobility assistance, and companionship to help clients maintain independence.

You will perform daily living tasks, prepare meals, manage medication reminders, and assist with exercises. A valid CNA/HHA certification, driver’s license, background check and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license or HHA certificate.
• Valid driver license or state photo ID.
• Second form of ID (SSN, Passport, or similar).
• CPR certification (not online).
• TB test or Chest X-ray clearance.
• Level 2 Fingerprint Background check.
• Alzheimer's, HIV, and medication assistance CEU required.
• 1 letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to help with activities of daily living.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and dressing.
• Prepare meals or snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to appointments and run errands.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Support hospice care and medication reminders.
• Assist with exercises and mobility routines.
• Use gait belts and lifting equipment safely.
