Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality care for seniors in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role focuses on observing patient changes, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining respectful patient interactions.

Ideal candidates hold CNA or HHA certification and can collaborate effectively within a team while prioritizing resident well-being and safety. Prior long-term care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification required.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Ability to foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living according to individual care plans.
• Observes residents and reports to nursing any changes in physical, mental, and emotional condition.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner.
