Job summary

Right at Home Boston NW is seeking a compassionate HHA/PCA/Caregiver to provide in-home non-medical support to elderly clients across multiple MA towns, including Lowell. You will help with daily living, companionship, and safety so clients can remain at home with dignity.

Shifts range from 3 to 12 hours with pay between $18 and $21 per hour. Benefits include paid travel time, medical benefits, 401K with company match, and paid sick time.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Have reliable, consistent transportation.
• Pass a full employment background check.
• Communicate in English (written and verbal).
• HHA certificate preferred but experience counts!

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of non-medical services that allow our elderly clients to stay in their homes.
• Help elderly clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.
• May provide safety assistance with showering, personal care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, dementia care, housekeeping, and companionship to our elderly.
• You may prepare or assist with basic meals for your elderly client.
• May run errands, take your elderly client to appointments, and provide companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, games, cards, etc.
• Will be awake and alert even on overnight shifts to assist our elderly clients.
