Garden City Health Care Center is seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will follow infection-control practices and safety procedures while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Basic math skills and ability to manage routine changes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas according to facility standards.
• Maintain public and common areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors throughout the facility.
• Dust and wipe surfaces and fixtures.
• Follow infection-control practices and safety precautions.
• Notify supervisor when supplies need replenishing.
