PACS Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. The role focuses on cleaning public areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms while following safety protocols and reporting concerns.

Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential; healthcare housekeeping experience is preferred. This position emphasizes teamwork and independent task completion in a facility setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Healthcare or long-term care housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand procedure manuals and directions.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public and common areas including lobbies, restrooms, and floors.
• Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Wipe down handrails to remove dust and debris.
• Remove dirt and debris from walls, mirrors, windows, and light fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Follow safety protocols and use chemicals securely.
• Operate cleaning equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean and sanitary.
• Report resident safety concerns to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing.
• Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
• Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet facility standards.
