Job summary

Best Buy Health in Reno, NV is seeking a Health Services Response Advisor to support both Consumer and Commercial PERS customers by handling emergency and non-emergency requests via phone and electronic channels. The role is onsite, requiring training at a Best Buy Health location and eventual integration into the HSR department with possible overnight/weekend shifts.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of customer service or call center experience and complete CSA certification coursework

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or call center experience.
• Prior certification and/or successful completion of the CSA certification coursework upon hire (paid on the job training).

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of individuals seeking medical, social, or wellness support.
• Respond to alerts and logs with appropriate urgency.
• Advocate for members and triage calls; report crisis situations to agencies.
• Coordinate transportation needs via Lyft dispatch.
• Create accurate logs to ensure safety and needs are met.
• Monitor incidents in real time and escalate to clinical stakeholders as needed.
