Job summary

A Woman’s Choice Clinics is seeking a compassionate Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our clinical team in Raleigh, NC. In this full-time, hourly role, you’ll welcome patients, document vital signs, and support providers with examinations and procedures within your training and scope.

You’ll help coordinate appointments, manage inquiries, and maintain a clean, organized clinic. This position requires CPR/BLS certification and weekend/evening availability, with competitive compensation and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to move between front-office and back-office in a busy clinic.
• Current CPR/BLS certification at time of hire for new HCA I.
• Availability to work Saturdays and evening clinical shifts.
• Preferred: experience in medical, clinical, or reproductive healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with professionalism and respect.
• Document vital signs, symptoms, medications, allergies, and other information in the EMR.
• Assist with appointment coordination, patient questions, and administrative needs.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient care and procedures within your training and scope.
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to licensed clinical staff.
• Maintain a clean, sterile clinical environment.
