Job summary

ClearSky Health in Florida seeks a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, non-invasive bedside care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform vital signs, document intake/output, assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, and help transfer patients using proper body mechanics while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Required BLS certification; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred; strong

Qualifications

• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes basic patient care (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming).
• Performs and documents vital signs, intake/outake, weights, specimens.
• Assists with patient transfers using proper body mechanics and safety.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintains clean, safe patient rooms and beds and assists in admissions.
• Responds promptly to patient/family calls and requests.
• Adheres to safety and Infection Prevention standards.
• Maintains regular attendance and completes required trainings.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the organization.
