Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals in community living settings in California. You’ll assist with daily living tasks, personal hygiene, and community integration, while building meaningful relationships with participants and their families.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required for this driving position. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $17.11 per hour, a full benefits package for full-time staff, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Good communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork and time-management.
• Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real relationships with the individuals you serve and provide person-centered care.
