Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance.
• Assist with preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Perform office duties including answering phones, fax, computers, and multi-line phone system.
• Run errands for floral deliveries and supplies.
• Usher, park cars, or transport families as needed.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and pickups.
• Ensure refreshments are available where allowed by law.
• Assist with visitations, memorials and funeral services.
• Greet client families and provide information and assistance.
• Accommodate family needs during service/visitation.
• May wash and clean funeral home vehicles as required.
