Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to drive with a valid state license and clean driving record.
• No prior work experience required; funeral industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services.
• Assist with lifting the deceased when needed.
• Set up rooms for services and assist with guest materials.
• Greet visitors, provide programs, and share funeral information.
• May serve as pallbearer or transport families to cemetery.
• Perform office tasks: phone screening, data entry, document handling.
• Transport documents, flowers, and belongings; maintain vehicles.
