Qualifications

No prior work experience required; funeral industry experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication and compassionate interaction with families.

Responsibilities

Prepare caskets and deceased for visitation or funeral services.
Greet visitors, provide programs, answer questions, and share funeral information.
Assist with transporting caskets and pallbearer duties.
Drive families to cemetery sites when needed.
Answer phones, screen callers, and process first-call information.
Maintain clean, orderly reception areas and assist with light office tasks.
After services, handle removal, cleaning and storage of company property.
